ABOUT

I'm Jonny Pucci, a San Diego–based muralist and public artist. For more than a decade I've painted large-scale exterior murals, portraiture, and installations across the U.S., Mexico, and beyond — most recently the three-story mural wrapping the Oceanside Transit Center. Every wall I paint is site-specific. Before I pick up a brush, I look to the history, culture, and people of a place and build something that belongs there — bold enough to read from across the street, and rewarding up close.

HOW A COMMISSION WORKS

1. Concept — We talk through your site, goals, and story. I develop a site-specific concept and mockups.

2. Design & Quote — You approve the design and receive a fixed quote and schedule. A deposit reserves your dates.

3. Prep & Access — Wall prep, priming, and any lift or scaffold are arranged, and permits are coordinated.

4. Paint — On-wall painting — clean, professional, and on schedule.

5. Protect & Document — Anti-graffiti coating, a final walk-through, and professional photography of the finished mural.

FAQs

What is a typical project timeline?

Small walls run about 2–3 weeks from deposit; large or multi-story commissions run 6–10 weeks. Your exact schedule is confirmed at booking

What state are you based in?

Based in San Diego and available across Southern California. I am fine to arrange travel for out-of-area and national commissions. I have an additional home base in Colorado.

What is it like working with you?

I handle the whole project so you don't have to — design, permitting coordination, lift and access, protective coating, and documentation. I carry general liability insurance and can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) on request, and I'm experienced working within municipal, institutional, and developer requirements and timelines.

Investment

Every mural is priced individually by scale, detail, and site access. Tell me about your wall and I'll send a clear one-page pricing and logistics sheet, then a fixed quote after a short site review.
